  1. I liked this quite a bit, because it avoids the usual language of triumphalism that comes into many of these discussions of technology and its impact. This is probably why I’m more enthusiastic about analysis like this, which stresses the unevenness of the diffusion of technology (if I’m reading you right), than writings like the Digital Humanities Manifesto discussed below.

    Love to see more analysis like it, here, and at the Long 18th. (And don’t forget EMOB)
