This collection of materials looks incredible. I had a great experience teaching the “American Memory” film archives last fall (several students commented on the film screenings in their final projects, etc).
I can imagine this material really provoking a number of important discussions. What a great find.
Nice additional to an already impressive collection.
We use American Memory a lot in our lesson plans. It’s a great website/resource.
Are those lesson plans on the web, Jason?
The main website is: http://edsitement.neh.gov
The complete list of lesson plans (http://edsitement.neh.gov/lesson_index.asp) can be sorted according to subject and grade level.
Some of the 9-12 lessons might be useful for lower level college classes…
As far as lessons that specifically use American Memory – a search might show those results.
